On Wednesday afternoon, a group of our Key Stage 3 aspiring chefs attended the Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of London. The aim of the trip was to allow the pupils to learn more about the hospitality sector and widen their career aspirations.
Their tour guide, Erica, who is the Talent and Development Manager at Nobu, showed the pupils several different areas around the hotel, including the hotel's penthouse suite and sushi bar. During the tour, the pupils were also given a 'treasure hunt' challenge to complete. At each area of the hotel, there was an important object they had to find. From a fancy hand soap to chopsticks in the restaurant, the boys popped on their detective hats to find the objects.
