Today, MBS has hosted one of 180 Faraday Challenge Days that take place around the country. This initiative is an engineering-based competition for schools during which teams compete against each other to create the best solution to a specific, real-life engineering problem.
We hosted teams from Paddington Academy, Westminster Academy and Bentley Wood High School. Each team designed and engineered a prototype to fit a brief surrounding the James Webb Space telescope. They presented their ideas and were judged on their teamwork, budgeting and design skills. Results are yet to come in but fingers crossed! Photos from the day are available on our Facebook page here.
