International Women's Day at Visa HQ

On Tuesday, Year 12 girls were invited to join a special event at Visa celebrating the recent International Women's Day. The day started with a breakfast networking session, with students having the opportunity to meet volunteers from Visa. The students then received an informative talk from the Early Careers team at Visa who discussed the many career opportunities available at the company, including degree apprenticeships.

The day included various guest speakers who spoke about on the importance of International Women's Day, including three female executives employed by Visa across Europe. The session ended with a panel talk from Visa's AI and tech team. The panel discussed the importance of AI and how it is emerging everyday.

We hope our students enjoyed networking with the professionals and were able to take something useful away from the day.
