This term, students have nominated and voted for their first winners of the Jack Petchey Achievement award - a £250 grant that they can spend on something to enhance the school experience for pupils.
January's winner was Melos (Year 10) who was nominated for his outstanding commitment to after-school basketball club. He has decided to put his money towards a new electronic basketball scoreboard for the sports hall.
February saw Jibril (Year 9) win the award for his commitment to helping out at after-school homework club. He has decided to put his funding towards improving the library.
