Marylebone Boys’ School receives its second set of GCSE results

Highlights from the results that the school has achieved this year include:
21% of pupils achieved top grades of 7-9 in 5 subjects or more
84% of pupils achieved at least a pass in 5 or more subjects
65% of pupils achieved at least a strong pass in 5 or more subjects
93% were awarded a pass or above in English and 75% of boys received at least a strong pass
87% were awarded a pass or above in Maths and 68% of boys received at least a strong pass
79% were awarded a pass or above in Science and 64% of boys received at least a strong pass
In English literature, 28% of pupils achieved top grades of a 7+
In Maths, 34% of pupils achieved top grades of a 7+
75% were awarded at least a pass in Humanities
80% were awarded at least a pass in MFL
85% of pupils achieved at least a pass in both Maths and English
Commenting on the school’s results, Headteacher of MBS Mr Richard Ardron states: “The 2020 GCSEs are a brilliant set of results for our students. We are delighted that our boys have performed so well and this will enable them to progress on to the next stage of their educational journey. It is the second set of results since the school was set up in 2014 and exemplifies how our culture of positivity, productivity and professionalism successfully produces a cohort of well-rounded young men as well as excellent results."
