We were delighted to be able to hold the Carol Concert on 15 December at St Mary’s Church. It was a lovely event for the school and parent community to get together and celebrate the festive season, and of course our pupils' great talent. There was a wonderful array of performances for our audience, including pieces such as “Toreador March” by the string ensemble, a touching rendition of “God Only Knows” by the choir, Year 7 and the band, as well as other impressive items performed by the djembe club, jazz and jam bands. Added to that, our fantastic vocalist's Lydia and Nelson in Year 12 performed a duet of the song "Isn't She Lovely". This was the first time a female student has performed at our Carol Concert, so a special well done to Lydia. There was also a staff performance of the Christmas classic “Let It Snow”. Immense credit goes to Mr Mercer for his organisation of the event and for leading the team of music specialists who nurture our boys’ talents.
