Deputy Headteacher, Paul Green, comments: “These young men and women are fully deserving of their results as a reflection of the effort and dedication they have shown over the last two years. Due to the Covid pandemic, two years ago this cohort of students had a very different experience of public examinations, and our students should bear this in mind as they reflect upon their performance. Congratulations to all of them and I wish them the best for their next chapter.”

The school was also delighted to host a special visit on its results day by Bridget Phillipson, Shadow Secretary of State for Education, along with Rachel Blake, Labour's Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Cities of London & Westminster. Ms Phillipson and Ms Blake met with a number of students as they collected their results to find out about their achievements and future plans.

Ms Phillipson commented: "I was delighted and privileged to join pupils at MBS on such an important day. Today is rightly a day of great celebration for them, after having worked so hard and achieved so much despite the challenges they have faced. I want to wish everyone who collected their results today the best of luck in all their future endeavours, whether that be going on to an apprenticeship, to university or into the world of work."

Ms Blake also commented: “It was great to pay a visit to MBS Sixth Form this morning and to speak to students about their A Level results. With the support of their fantastic teachers, they have overcome the significant challenges of recent years and earned some excellent grades.”
