Exam Results

Marylebone Boys’ School GCSEs Summer 2025

This year’s key successes include:

  • 67% of boys have received a Grade 5+ in Maths and 80% received a 4+ in Maths 
  • 67% of boys received a Grade 5+ in English and 81% have been awarded a 4+ in English 
  • 19% of all our grades are Grade 9 to Grade 7 
  • The percentage of boys passing English and Maths at Grade 5+ is 59% 
  • The percentage of boys passing English and Maths at Grade 4+ is 76% 

We are proud to recognise numerous individual achievements today, including:

  • Nor with eleven Grade 9s
  • Aaron with ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8
  • Noah with eight Grade 9s and three Grade 8s
  • Danny with eight Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, and one Grade 7
  • Djibril with six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s
  • Sulayman with six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and one Grade 7
  • Mark with two Grade 9s, five Grade 8s, one Grade 7, two Grade 6s and one Grade 4

MBS Sixth Form A Levels Summer 2025

MBS Sixth Form celebrates its fifth set of A Level results with students’ hard work over the last two years truly paying off. Across the board, 38% of students achieved grades A* to B and 64% achieved grades A* to C.

This year’s results highlight our students’ strong interest in social sciences and business, with achievements across departments including:

  • Economics: 96% achieved A*-C
  • Sociology: 92% achieved A*-C
  • Business: 89% achieved A*-C
  • Government and Politics: 82% achieved A*-C
  • Classical Civilisation: 80% achieved A*-C

Whilst we celebrate the collective efforts of our pupils, there were some stand-out individual performances. These include:

  • Maleka: achieved A*ABB and will be going to King’s College London to study Medicine
  • Salma: achieved A*BB and will be taking a gap year to gain experience and to explore her career options
  • Adam: achieved AAB and will be going to City St George’s University of London to study Business
  • Zahra: achieved AAB will be going to University College London to study Classics and the Ancient World
  • Mohammed: achieved ABB and will be going to City St George’s University of London to study Accounting and Finance
  • Ahmed: achieved ABB and has had offers from Queen Mary University of London to study Neuroscience or Biomedical Engineering
