Student Leadership
At Marylebone Boys’ School, we believe that leadership isn’t just for a select few — it’s for everyone. Our goal is to cultivate a generation of confident, compassionate, and innovative leaders who are ready to shape the world. Building on our core values, we want our students to be leaders who exemplify Professionalism, Productivity and Positivity.
Leadership through Education – we have a curriculum which blends academic excellence with real-world problem-solving, ensuring that leadership principles are embedded in every subject.
Leadership through Enrichment – we offer a wide variety of opportunities to develop leadership outside of the classroom whether this is in sports, clubs, trips and innovation challenges
Leadership through Service – we deliver every student the opportunity to be a leader through service opportunities. These include being an ambassador for a day, presenting our school to prospective peers, and teaching others in younger ages groups.
Leadership through Careers and beyond – we ensure that our students are not just prepared for college or university — they’re prepared to lead in an ever-changing global society. We offer many career experiences and future focused planning events building leadership in collaboration with the business community surrounding our school.
Student Voice
For those students who wish to advocate for change and lead initiatives that impact the school community, we offer students the opportunity to apply to be on our school council. A vigorous application process takes place where students motivate for their selection, and successful candidates sit on the School Council and attend regular leadership meetings. They caucus for and feedback information from their individual form groups to the School Council and vice-versa. The School Council provides a vehicle for the student body to have a clear voice and direct line of communication to the Senior Leadership Team.
