Sports Day

Sports Day was held on Wednesday 17th July and for another year running, we used the excellent facilities at Willesden Sports Centre to hold our much awaited event.

As always, our boys displayed excellent standards of sportsmanship and showcased a wealth of talent and sporting prowess during the various track and field events, as well as a softball and tug of war inter-house competition which ensured everyone had the opportunity to participate in an activity and represent their house with pride.

Despite Brunel House’s consecutive success in recent years, the winners this year were Darwin House, with 334 points. In second place were Brunel, with 304 points, followed by Newton with 262 points. In last place were Faraday, with 219 points. All boys took part with enthusiasm and energy and worked hard to represent to their House experiencing victory and defeat together with grace.

We were fortunate to have had the ongoing support of the Friends of MBS, who were there to support us with their array of drinks and snacks. A big thank you to the parents and carers who supported their son and his peers on this day and we'll done for getting involved and participating in the staff and parents relay race. Well done everyone for their participation, contributions and supports. Until next year.
