On Thursday 4 July, students got to have their own say on the outcome of the general election, casting a vote for who they think would best run the country. To ensure students made an informed choice, volunteers from Years 7-10 ran political campaigns to inform and persuade students. Campaigners made posters and delivered speeches in support of one of the major parties. The winning party was Labour with 44% of votes, followed by Reform (24%), Liberal Democrats (22%), Conservative (6%) and Green (4%).
