At the start of this half term, a group of boys from both Key Stage 3 and 4 took part in the annual schools Greenhouse Table Tennis Competition. Marylebone Boys' School entered two teams at the under-16 level. Some of our boys were playing against students with more experience and in older year groups. The standard of play was extremely strong, so the boys should be very proud for taking part at the level they did.
One of our teams performed at a very high level throughout and came in second place in their age group, narrowly missing out on advancing on to the next round in the national school groups. There was one outstanding performer during the day. Philipp outperformed all his opponents and comfortably won all his games.
A big well done to all who took part and we look forward to the continued success of our table tennis players.
