Westminster Cross Country Championships

On Friday 4th October, 16 pupils from MBS competed in the district Cross Country Championships at Regent's Park. In the Year 7/8/9 race, Clark and Arthur stayed with the front pack all the way round and ended up with Silver and Bronze medals respectively. Also putting in strong performances Hakim finished in 5th and Naison and Ramel finished in 11th and 13th.

As Naison and Ramel will be in the same race next year this is a very promising performance. In the longer Year 10 and 11 race MBS had the most athletes competing, with Suhayb our top performer, finishing in 4th place and just missing out on the medals. Well done to all the boys who competed, and good luck to those who are selected to represent Westminster in the London Cross Country Championships on the back of these performances.
