As part of our Careers programme at the school, the Year 10 cohort participated in one-to-one mock interviews with professionals from local businesses around Paddington. The companies included the likes of Marks & Spencer, St Mary's Hospital and Imperial Health Charity, just to mention a few!
The purpose of the sessions was to give pupils an insight into what a real-life interview would look like and prepare them for their upcoming work experience, which is taking place at the end of March. The interview questions challenged the boys to think about the professional skills they have developed in school and how they might apply these skills in a workplace setting. During the interview process, the employers collated constructive feedback for each student to help them learn and improve their interpersonal skills. We received great feedback from the employers and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the volunteers. Well done to everyone involved!
